Lappi - Lapland is a region in the northern Europe. the name Lapland is derived from Lapp, the name of the Scandinavian Sami (Finland) people. 

Because of it's cold climates, some people associated it with Christmas.

This postcard show the Old town and river Salzach, view to the Hohensalzburg Fortress.

The Hohensalzburg Fortrees is the landmark for the city of Salzburg. It's eye catching because it's located in the highland. Built at 11 century and today became one of the largest existing fortress complex in Europe.
