Crown Point, rising 733 feet above the Columbia River, provides spectacular panoramic views of the Columbia River Gorge and Historic Columbia River Highway.
This spectacular river canyon is 80 miles long and up to 4,000 feet deep in some places.
Established in 1986 by Congress, the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic area is dedicated to preserving the scenic, cultural, natural and recreational resources of the Gorge.
The Vista House itself is a museum and also a memorial to Oregon pioneers
