Cologne - Koln

Cologne is the fourth largest city in Germany.

Cologne is famous for its Kolsch Beer, a special beer only brewed in Cologne. It's a light ale and is served in the traditional 0,2 liter Kolsch glasses with are tall and cylindrical.

Drink Kolsch in an origin "Brauhaus" (the traditional German Pub where the beer is brewed). There the "Kobes" serves the fantastic ale and he serves one after another if you don't say "NO" and put the beer pad on your glass.

Thanks to Marita.

Vimanmek Mansion, Bangkok, Thailand

Vimanmek Mansion is a former royal palace in Bangkok, Thailand.

It was constructed in 1900 and finished in 1901. It was used as a royal palace by King Rama V.

In 1982, Queen Sirikit asked permission of King Rama IX to renovate the Vimanmek Palace for use as a museum to commemorate King Rama V.

It is now a major tourist attraction and the world's largest golden teak-wood mansion.

If you visit this mansion don't use the unappropriated dress such as T-Shirt, shorts or ripped jeans because it is forbidden to enter the mansion with it.

When you visit Thailand, don't forget to try the famous local food likes Pad Thai and Som Tam.
