Riccardo Muti at Festival Michelangeli

I got postcard from Brescia, Italy

In the back of the postcard, the sender told me that Brescia, Lombard city in the north of Italy, between Iseo Lake and Garda Lake.

Brescia was founded by the Gauls or Celts Cenoman, then Brescia or Brixia became a very important Roman city and a Royal duchy of the Lombards, people coming form the land of the northern Europe (Scandinavia).

in 2011 "Longobardi in Itala" Brescia is New UNESCO World Heritage.

Thanks to Luigi.
